UHF antenna, linear polarized
A linear UHF antenna radiates the signal in a single polarisation plane, making it ideal for directional identification. Linear polarisation works best when tags are consistently oriented in relation to the antenna. Applications include warehouse aisle portal gates, conveyor belt identification points and other settings where tag orientation can be controlled. A linear antenna provides greater range at the same transmit power compared to a circular model. Our linear UHF antennas are suitable for demanding industrial environments. They connect to devices in our UHF readers section.
The directionality of a linear antenna enables more precise definition of the identification zone, minimizing interference between adjacent reading areas. This is particularly important when multiple RFID readers operate side by side in the same space.
